Draws, Prizes & Winners
1. Both website and in-person ticket sales will conclude each Wednesday at 7:30pm at which time all qualified tickets will be confirmed.
2. The draws will be electronically conducted from the offices of Royal Canadian legion Branch 36, Dundas, 280 King Street West Dundas. If this location is not available, the electronic draw will be conducted from St. Joseph’s Villa Foundation at 56 Governors Rd. Dundas.
3. A single ticket number will be electronically selected each week by a Random Number Generation (RNG) program from all raffle ticket numbers sold during the week leading up to the draw.
4. Each week, the winning ticket holder will receive a single cash prize equal to 20 percent of all ticket sales for that week. Following the weekly draw, the playing card hidden within the virtual envelope associated with the winning ticket order will be revealed.
o If the envelope associated with the winning weekly draw ticket reveals the Ace of Spades, the weekly draw winner will also receive the Dundas Catch the Ace Progressive Jackpot, consisting of 30 percent of all ticket sales, accumulated over all weeks through the course of that raffle round. This concludes the Dundas Catch the Ace Raffle.
o If the envelope associated with the winning weekly draw ticket reveals any playing card other than the Ace of Spades, 30 percent of the ticket sales for that week will be added to the Progressive Jackpot and that revealed card/envelope number is removed from subsequent draws. All tickets from the previous week are then voided and ticket sales commence for the next weekly draw. The weekly draws continue until the Ace of Spades is found.
5. The winning ticket number, winners name, the weekly prize amount, and revealed playing card associated with the weekly winning ticket will be posted to www.DundasCatchTheAce.com, shared on Dundas Catch the Ace social media accounts, and e-mailed to e-mail subscribers following each weekly draw. Winners will also be notified by phone and/or email.
